The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security in collaboration with other MDAs are in Makeni, Bombali District on a three-day retreat fine tuning the agricultural sector’s contribution to the President’s Recovery Priorities. Professor Monty Patrick Jones, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security is leading the discussion, with an emphasis on boosting production, productivity and promoting processing and packaging through private sector investment. The retreat will end on Saturday 28 May 2016 and a working document and road map for the agricultural sector will be produced.
